I moved here almost three and a half years ago, from New York. Why? I had always wanted to work in Asia and after stopping over for a few days, meeting a few potential employers and ultimately landing a job – I made the move across many seas. Time flies here. It is busy, bustling and boiling hot, but also full of little adventures to be had. Helps to have good friends who share your love for travel and food. I’ve been fortunate to make some good local friends who’ve told me about the best places to have chilli crab (not Jumbo Seafood) and got me hooked on to Kaya Toast (Ya Kun for life!). Singapore also offers amazing photo opportunities. I am always Instagram-ming around town (that is a legit word, believes you me). You’ll see evidence of that in future posts, but here’s one of my favorites of the Singapore skyline, for now.
