Boston, 2006. Yep. That recent. Hey, I grew up in the tropics. My winters were chilly, fall-like evenings, that’s about it.
Living in New England just for a year meant I got to see it go through a reincarnation every season, particularly winter.
Maine — Vacationland, indeed. So deserving of that moniker. It’s summers are truly spectacular, but in winter, it is a quiet, serene wonderland. Most of residents are catching a tan in Florida, while (curious) tourists like me can take in the deserted streets, wharfs and all the snow!
